Job Description

Are you an experienced Sales and Marketing Administrator who would like to join a truly lovely, friendly and supportive team in West Swindon on a 5 month maternity contract?

Our client is a leading engineering & utilities company who are growing rapidly, and looking for support to cover maternity leave for around 5 months starting in early May 2019.

As a Sales & Marketing Administrator you will be required to:

  • Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers, including obtaining customer feedback
  • Monitor the sales lifecycle with visibility of enquiries, quotes and orders to ensure quotes are generated from enquiries and sales tasks are progressed and actioned
  • Create accurate reports on order pipeline
  • Prepare quotations and tender responses, liaise with departments for specific information and support
  • Maintain and update CRM data base ensuring all data is accurate and able to support reporting needs
  • Manage internal communications including newsletter
  • Plan content for social media that promotes its business' values and news
  • Liaise with production, customers & freight forwarders etc. to ensure products delivered to timescales agreed and with adequate customs/export documentation where necessary 
  • Support external marketing communications
  • Ensure Mailshots are completed to deadlines and events planned accordingly

To be considered for the role of Sales & Marketing Administrator you must:

  • Have previous experience within a similar role (administration and marketing)
  • Be highly organised and self motivated
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Be tech-savvy with experience using social media for business
  • Be able to demonstrate great attention to detail at all times
