As Sales & Bid Support Coordinator you will be rewarded with a generous salary, excellent range of benefits and be responsible for:

  • Using the outputs of marketing campaigns and research to identify target customer organisations and key people within them as prospects for future sales
  • Making introductions to potential new customers
  • Identifying and application of funding streams
  • Conducting marketing analysis
  • Liaising with Marketing Communications to deliver customer / product specific campaigns
  • Providing support to Account Managers and to UK & overseas agents and partners
  • Lead generation
  • Preparation of outgoing quotations and tender responses, liaising internally for specialist information and support as necessary
  • Where necessary, acting as bid manager for tenders from formal enquiry to order (expressions of interest
  • Preparation of forecasts/reports

 

To be considered for the role of Sales & Bid Support Coordinator you will need to:

  • Have a good level of education, ideally with an engineering qualification
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Have the ability to absorb technical information quickly
  • Be a strong team player, with a “can do” attitude
  • Highly self-motivated and eager / ability to learn
  • Have excellent communications skills, both written and spoken
  • Have a high level of commercial acumen and the ability to understand client’s processes and business objectives
  • Be IT literate with a sound knowledge of the MS Office packages, experience with Sage software would also be desirable
  • Previous experience with technical drawings would be an advantage
  • A sound understanding of tendering and bid management experience would be an advantage
