Great opportunity for experienced Power Systems Engineer to join leading space organisation as part of their continued growth.

As Power Systems Engineer an integral part of the Power Team and will help shape the future of power systems for future missions. The power system is a key subsystem an  innovative satellite servicing technology, ensuring the spacecraft’s continuous operation.The role will include

  • The design, development, testing, and operations of the complete power system whilst collaborating with different systems teams internally and global suppliers.
  • Managing and reviewing the development and design activities for power sub-systems for missions
  • Maintaining sub-system requirements
  • Reviewing sub-system architecture
  • Reviewing trade-off analysis of hardware & software solutions
  • Supporting power budgets
  • Reviewing FMECA inputs and FDIR processes

 

To be considered for the role of Power Systems Engineer you will:

  • Be educated to BSc degree in Engineering or Science
  • Have previous commercial experience on LEO satellite power engineering
  • Have hands on experience on testing satellite units such as PCDU
  • Have experience with satellite power EGSE
  • Have good understanding of analog/power electronics circuits and EEE components
  • Have good understanding of design and validation for EMI/EMC
  • Have good understanding of satellite grounding
  • Ideally have experience of satellite level AIT/AIV
